There are deals, and there are wheels

We are now the semi-proud owners of a fairly used minivan.

Actually, it's a pretty good deal...a 1995 Mercury Villager with 98,000 miles (everything else in our price range had 115-125k, or even more). It has a few problems, for which we talked him down on the price, but it fits our family well. It was a serious scrape to get it, but we were able to do it (with a little bit of divine intervention). It's even my wife's favorite color.

It does have some problems, but nothing major. It needs a tune up, and may need a new water pump. Tires could stand replacing, but will have to do for now.

Notice the broken wheel cover? Body is in pretty good shape, though, as is the interior.
